Good article on Sox/Tigers series, from ESPN
I will admit to reading very little about the White Sox outside of this blog and the newspaper. I visit a few of the White Sox blogs, but frankly - I don't want to be influenced by them. Occasionally I will venture over to the ad-filled ESPN site. Sometimes I will check Yahoo. Today is one of those days where I attempted to expand my horizons.
I found myself at ESPN's front door this morning being greated by an
article written by Jayson Stark.Yea, he misspells his own name, but today's article is about the
White Sox and the Tigers. It's a good read. It's a bit long but it does a nice job of pointing out the obvious. The Tigers aren't there yet. The recent struggles the Tigers have encountered with the White Sox, Red Sox and the Yankees might be a sign of their cooling-off. I just hope that the White Sox can continue their current streak against our next challenging opponent - the Tribe. Good luck to Jon Garland tonight. I hope he keeps the ball down. I'm tired of seeing opposing hitters hurt us with the long ball.
