ChicagoSportsBlogs : Non Compete

I don't really write about the Blackhawks on this site. My 2 loyal readers know that it's because I gave up on hockey thanks to Wirtz, the strike, and just getting tired of being shit on by the organIzation. It is a total cop out, I know, but I have seen little reason to take the old indian head sweater out of storage. That is, until now. All of a sudden the Blackhawks have a good buzz going in this town. There are two young guns on the team that are a joy to watch, and thanks to Rocky Wirtz I can finally watch home games on TV. Yea, I don't know what's going on in this town but hockey is making a comeback. My cynical nature is telling me that the Hawks are the safe haven that White Sox and Bears fans are running to. That's my story.

It's a shame they haven't been playing very good hockey lately. They just lost their sixth in a row. But that won't stop the entire CSB crew from being in the building when the Hawks return home to face the Wild. That's going to be good times. I'm actually pretty excited. So if you're in the nosebleeds on Friday night, look over to our section and wave hello!

You'll know it's us because we'll all be sitting there with laptops, live blogging the hockey game. Woohoo! Anyone reading any good Hawks Blogs? I can't find any to save my life...Most of them are out of date, and seem to have been set up to support ads for all the awesome ticket brokers out there. Well, all except for this one. Time to add our pals at the SB Nation to the blog roll.
