I have to ask, exactly why do we think Cutler is better than Orton? I mean, ok his numbers are better last year. I'll give you that. I'll also give you that the win-loss record has more to do with Denver's defense being a complete sham. And trust me, I know he's from Vandy and we REALLY LIKE PLAYERS FROM VANDY - but what are we expecting here? Cutler to win the division for us by throwing to Davis and Booker? Can he run for his life, because last I checked we're 2 offensive linemen short of fielding a team. All I am saying is that we don't need a quarterback right now. Orton is perfectly fine. In fact, he has earned the right to start again next year based on the fact we won more than 5 games. We didn't miss the playoffs because of Orton. And I don't think last years team makes the playoffs because of Cutler. I can see how pulling the trigger on a deal this year would be attractive...but it would also be disruptive. Orton will find his groove. He has a great running back. No more Sexy Rexy. A great tight end if we ever call a play for him, and NO OFFENSIVE LINE OR RECEIVERS. What would you give them for Cutler?!

The Bears need Cutler and should do "almost anything" to obtain him. Oh by the way, Mel Kiper is an idiot.
